How does one stop Global Warming? Well, apparently in the eyes of Greenpeace, by dressing up as Polar Bears, holding signs, and chartering private helicopters to fly over your event with a photographer. In what can be viewed as little more than an effort to show what a joke the "green" movement has become, these mental midgets organized this event in an attempt to "send a message to world leaders". If the message was, "Hey World. We are idiots" then I would say the point was well taken.

At a Global Warming Summit hosted by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, President Elect Barack Obama renewed his promise to be a good steward of the environment. A close look at his plan, however, shows it comes far short of doing what it takes to make significant changes. Obama intends to return us to lower carbon levels of previous decades, but stops far short of lowering our carbon output to zero. He continues to focus on the style of "green" over the substance of "blue". We urge the Obama campaign to take a close look at blue jobs, and how they can set the country on the right track.
